I remember a few, and I was just wondering whether someone could fill in the gaps:

1. 一字长蛇阵
2。二龙出水阵





8。八卦阵

10。十面埋伏阵

thats all i could remember.

Are you referring to formations in chinese names from 1-10 ?

There are hundreds of variation....

if you would google it...

but here is what I found after a 5 sec google.

一字长蛇，二龙出水，天地三才，四门兜底，五行生克，六丁六甲，七星北斗，八卦金锁，九九连环，十面埋伏

Another version:

一字长蛇阵、 二龙出水阵， 天地三才阵，四门斗九阵，五虎驱羊阵，六金六甲阵， 七星北斗阵， 八门金锁阵， 九死连环阵， 十面埋伏阵.

But I think the original version appeared in the Ming novel Fengshen Bang 《封神榜》:

Needless to say, these formations are products of the novelist's imagination, and are not found in any historical sources.
