I have seen this armour in Place Museum's website, as well as my new book.

The upper part of this armour seems to be made in hard material, especially metal perhaps. Yet the lower part with survival painting decorations indicates soft material such as cloth. Could anyone provide more information on this type of armour? What is its name? Is it Mingguangjia?

Mhmm, that's Mingguangjia. It's distinguished by the two round plates on the chest. The cloth material is not the armor itself, but merely a covering for armor. I think Wujiang called it a Baodu, literally "wrapped around the abdomen".

So, behind Baodu, there is actually another layer of lamellar armour?
Then what is the difference between Mingguangjia and Bubingjia?
