I was wondering if anyone knows any good references about leather working in the Tang dynasty. I am looking for tools and designs, but any information would be greatly appreciated.

What areas of leather usage are you looking for?

Are you looking for its usage on armour, horse gadgets, shoes ? Or you have something specific in mind ?

Or are you looking for its usage on chinese clothings ?

Use in clothing, mainly. Most specifically, I am looking for whether or not they carved or colored the leather, how it was done, and what kind of designs they would have used.

Any info would be appreciated, especially with reference info. I am just not sure where to look.
