I have watched the hero, there is some scene that qin army attack the zhao's calligraphy school <very cool>, they use many large crossbow and their bolt/arrow are so powerful,long distance,can broke the school's roof,is it true that qin have weapon like that or just a film,and of course u can give advice about the hero's <nameless,broken sword,flying snow,etc> sword (is it true too?/just a film)

The crossbows existed which can fire multi-ple bolts, but in the movie, some things are inaccurate and exaggerated. For instance, one would never sit down and use the leg as 'support' for the cross-bows, as shown in the movie. Also, the bolts/arrows piercing through the roof is exaggerated...and not true.

They do use legs as support when reloading. When shooting definitely not, it's going to hurt the crotch ninja.gif . The swords where way too flabby. And the spearmen(or halbadiers) weren't supposed to carry shields. And if they did, chances are it's not round like a circle. The movie also shows stirrups, which weren't invented yet. But on account of the safety of the actors, I'll let that pass.
