I was perusing ideas for cheap Halloween costumes I could throw together (I'm accompanying my little brother for good ol' trick-or-treating) and stumbled upon instructions for creating elaborate Samurai armor just with cardboard and other simple materials and a LOT of labor.

I won't have time to fabricate something this complicated at the last minute but I'm considering starting on a costume for next year. I'm thinking I could apply some of these techniques and create Chinese armor, which I think would look way cooler in my opinion. Does anyone have any closeups or diagrams on how Qin armor was constructed and laced together? I'll also need to know about color schemes as well as what materials were used so I can achieve the proper look and "feel."

Any comments on the feasibility of this project would also be appreciated.
