So this is no longer just a rumor, it is actually true. Cool. Question, Why are there Japanese and Korean actors? Can they speak Chinese well? How is this going to effect realism?

I hope they do a really good job with this movie, I expect a good story and good battle scenes.
Chow Yun-fat speaks poorly mandarim.
And I don't know why Jet Li is in this movie, he is an Kung Fu star, not fitting in a war movie. And who will he play, maybe general Zhao Yun. :P
My guess, Chen Daoming will play as either Zhuge Liang, Lu Su or Sun Quan, and Jiang Wen as Cao Cao.

I'm looking forward to this film. It's expected that John Woo will do lots of action/battle scene.

ok, according to news from a chinese site, this movie will be released around 2007 -2008. but i think it will be released at 2006 since they will announce the actors next year. also, they don't have a script yet. it's too early to get excited.

I wonder who will play Lü Bu (Fengxian) 吕布 (奉先)? I hope they do not make him the immortal god that the novel made him out to be. For thoughs who seen the TV series did they make Lü Bu (Fengxian) 吕布 (奉先) a warrior who could fight 10000 single handed?

Here's hoping that it'll be historically accurate in armour, weapons, technology and stuff. ;-)
