Qiu Fengjia

Qiu Fengjia(1864-1912), with the another name is Bing Yuan, Zi Xiangen and Zhexian, later changed it into Canghai, considered as the Mr.wilde sea. He was from Guang Dong Zhen Ping(today's Jiao Ling), who was born in Tai Wan Miaoli County,the modern poet from Tai Wan. Liang Qichao considered him as a Giant in poem revolution in Poems in Yin Bing Room, Huang Zunxian considered him as the talented in the world in his works. Mr.Qiu wrote his poems with the theme of reoccupy Taiwan and reunified the country, which demonstrated his patriontism, in his line, all filled with disgrace and humiliation, the battle against imperialism and anti-Japanese passions which could gave readers strength inspiration.

I wonder what the chinese character for "Qiu Fengjia" is.. apparently he seems to be a poet during Qing dynasty.

Qiu Fengjia = 丘逢甲. Not only was he a poet, but he fought against the Japanese in their invasion of Taiwan in 1895. Check out this link: http://2006.chinatai...ng/A154063.html

Feng Chia University in Taichung, Taiwan is named after him.
