Good Afternoon,

I was told by someone that you may be able to help me.

My sister said there is a legend that goes with the panda coin ring and I have been looking everywhere on the net to find out if this is true, mine has 20 diamonds around the coin very pretty, I sure would appreciate any help you can give me or maybe point me into the right direction to look this info up if there is such a thing.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi blueeyedgyrl,

All I know is that a panda coin had been minted for the past 25 years... but, I have never heard of a legend that is attached to it. :g: Perhaps someone else on the forum knows more?

However, here's a short article about the coin itself from Wikipedia:

Thank you for your response, so if there isn't a legend then what is the purpose of the gold panda ring, like mine has 20 dimonds around it, would it just be like all other rings just for looks or is there a meaning there and why would they be so expensive?

My thinking is that it's just the size of the gemstones that surround it... I've seen ones with 21, 22... or none at all. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
